International Financial Reporting Standards - a key step in the careers of accountants

An important factor contributing to the growth of companies operating in the global capital market is building a culture based on ethics and transparency. This transparency also applies to financial data, especially important for investors, but also for partners or customers. Preparing financial statements according to the principles of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is crucial if we want to present comparable and transparent data.

Building knowledge and skills in IFRS can become a significant step in the careers of accounting and finance professionals.

Growing companies are looking for finance professionals who not only have knowledge of accounting principles, but above all are able to have a holistic view of the organization, including strategic and business aspects, responding to the requirements of the international market. - notes Kamila Izdebska, Head of BPP Professional Education in Poland.

ACCA, the international organization for accounting professionals, has developed the Diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR), a financial accounting qualification that focuses on International Financial Reporting Standards. The qualification is aimed at qualified accountants or university graduates who are looking for up-to-date and practical knowledge of the key International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS Accounting Standards) and how to interpret and apply them.

You can pass the ACCA DipIFR exam as early as June 2024. BPP, a professional training company, has developed a 7-day online workshop program so that students can effectively prepare for the exam on time and:

understand the structure of international financial reporting rules,
learn how to apply the relevant IFRS to key elements of financial statements,
learn how to identify and apply corporate disclosure requirements from financial statements,
learn how to prepare group financial statements (excluding cash flow statements for groups), including subsidiaries, affiliates and jointly controlled entities.

The mentioned training is practical and comprehensive, because it is based on our teaching materials, verified and accredited by ACCA. - Kamila Izdebska says - We divided the training into an introductory part - Feeder - and a Revision part, which is a practical and interactive workshop.

DipIFR training is scheduled for April 2, 3, 4, 5 and May 14, 16, 17, 2024.
